Regular Season Round 22: Tarnovia - Pelplin 61-71

2Liga top team - Pelplin (18-1) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat tenth ranked Tarnovia (8-12) in Tarnowo Podgorne 71-61. Karol Debski (198-84, agency: Promotex) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Marcin Chudy (187-86) chipped in 17 points. Piotr Janowski (195-93) produced 17 points (made all of his eight free throws) and center Marcin Eichert (200-91) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pelplin have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group A with 18-1 record. Newly promoted Tarnovia keeps the tenth place with 12 games lost. Pelplin will meet at home Gniezno (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tarnovia will play against Domino Inowr. in Inowroclaw and hope to secure a win.
