It was a good game for American guard Jermaine Marshall (193-90, college: Arizona St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Coen Stolk (195-97) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Rotterdam players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Aaron Roye (184-88) replied with 12 points and the former international swingman Dimeo Van Der Horst (197-91) added 12 points in the effort for Amsterdam. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rotterdam have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Dukes UDB. Amsterdam at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Rotterdam is looking forward to face higher ranked Leiden (#3) at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Amsterdam will play against Dukes UDB in Den Bosch and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
