Regular Season Round 16: Rapla - TLU/Kalev 63-70

The most important game in the last round took place in Rapla between third ranked Rapla (9-5) and seventh ranked TLU/Kalev (6-11) on Saturday night. Rapla was defeated by TLU/Kalev in a tough game at home 63-70. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 36-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Kristo Saage (186-85) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian center Djordje Dzeletovic (205-93, agency: AproK Sports Group) who added 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four TLU/Kalev players scored in double figures. At the losing side Dutch center Thomas van der Mars (208-90, college: Portland) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and Puerto Rican guard Rasham Suarez (190-92, college: S.Mississippi) scored 18 points. TLU/Kalev moved-up to sixth place. Rapla lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with five games lost. TLU/Kalev will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Rapla will play on the road against BC Rakvere and is hoping to win this game.
