Very expected game when 17th ranked Stabill (3-16) lost on the road to fifth ranked Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (12-8) 73-65 on Sunday. Stal Ostrow Wlkp. made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American point guard Aaron Johnson (173-88, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 7 assists. Vincentian center Shawn King (208-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Stal Ostrow Wlkp.'s coach Emil Rajkovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Bahamas center Zane Knowles (208-92, college: Texas A&M-CC) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and power forward Tomasz Wojdyla (201-77) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Stabill. Stal Ostrow Wlkp. have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Stabill lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Stal Ostrow Wlkp. will face Polpharma (#11) in Starogard in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Stabill will play at home against Rosa (#8) and hope to win that game.
