There was no surprise in Athens where 10th ranked Aris Thessal. (3-10) was defeated by seventh ranked Dafni Agioy (7-6) 73-60 on Sunday. Dafni Agioy made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Aris Thessal. turnovers. Strangely Aris Thessal. outrebounded Dafni Agioy 48-31 including 20 on the offensive glass. American center Shelby Cheslek (196-92, college: Gonzaga) fired 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Canadian swingman Cassandra Brown (188-92, college: Portland) chipped in 22 points and 8 rebounds. American-Guyanese guard Miriam McKenzie (177-90, college: Loyola, MD) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points, 22 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Brittni Montgomery (190-92, college: Cent.Florida) added 7 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Aris Thessal.'s coach George Ataktidis rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Dafni Agioy moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Panathlitikos and PAOK. Aris Thessal. lost their seventh game in a row. Aris Thessal. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth position with ten games lost.
