Regular Season Round 19: San Severo - Porto S.Elpidio 78-49

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked San Severo and 4th placed Porto S.Elpidio had identical 12-6 record. This time San Severo used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Porto S.Elpidio 78-49 on Sunday night. San Severo dominated down low during the game scoring 36 of its points in the paint compared to Porto S.Elpidio's 12. They outrebounded Porto S.Elpidio 39-28 including 33 on the defensive glass. Alberto Cacace (197-96) answered with 17 points and swingman Fabio Lovatti (192-89) added 6 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Porto S.Elpidio. San Severo (13-6) moved-up to fourth place in B, which they share with Cento. Loser Porto S.Elpidio dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. San Severo will face Monteroni (#15) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Porto S.Elpidio will play against Giulianova (#10) and hope to win that game.
