An interesting game for Groningen (17-1) which hosted in Groningen 4th ranked Dukes UDB (8-10). First ranked Groningen managed to get a 8-point victory 77-69. The hosts were ahead by 3 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 25-16 run, which allowed them to win the game. They keep the fourth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Rotterdam. Groningen will play against Leeuwarden (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Dukes UDB will play against Amsterdam and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
