Regular Season Round 19: Faenza - Padova 71-60

Rather expected game when 7th ranked Padova (10-9) lost on the road to fifth ranked Faenza (12-7) 71-60 on Sunday. It was a very good performance for swingman Daniele Casadei (199-81) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Alessandro Maccaferri (177-95) contributed with 7 points and 6 assists for the winners. Faenza's coach Marco Regazzi used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Enrico Crosato (194-85) answered with 13 points and 9 rebounds and forward Marco Lazzaro (198-92) added 14 points in the effort for Padova. Faenza maintains fifth place in B with 12-7 record. Loser Padova keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Faenza will face Desio (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Padova will play against San Vendemiano and hope to win that game.
