Very important is a road loss of second ranked Umana Venezia (12-6) against ninth ranked Dolomiti En. TR (9-9) on Sunday night. Visiting Umana Venezia was defeated by Dolomiti En. TR in a tough game in Trento 57-65. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Umana Venezia won fourth quarter 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dolomiti En. TR forced 26 Umana Venezia turnovers. American guard Aaron Craft (188-91, college: Ohio St.) notched 18 points and 4 steals to lead the effort and the other American import forward Dustin Hogue (198-92, college: Iowa St.) supported him with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Even 17 points by Greek-American swingman Michael Bramos (196-87, college: Miami, OH) did not help to save the game for Umana Venezia. Canadian-Nigerian forward Melvin Ejim (200-91, college: Iowa St.) added 11 points and 6 rebounds. Dolomiti En. TR have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. Umana Venezia at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. They share it with Scandone AV. Dolomiti En.
