Regular Season Round 19: Domodossola - Sangiorgese 60-66

No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Sangiorgese (8-11) beat on the road 15th ranked Domodossola (5-13) 66-60 on Sunday. It was a very good performance for forward Daniele Mario Benzoni (196-80) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Andrea Tommei (181-91) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four Sangiorgese players scored in double figures. Power forward Francesco Tuci (204-92) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard Antonio Serroni (192-87) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Domodossola. Domodossola's coach Alessio Fioravanti rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sangiorgese moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with Desio and Milano Urania. Newly promoted Domodossola keeps the fifteenth position with 13 games lost. Sangiorgese will face higher ranked Fiorentina (#6) in Firenze in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Domodossola will play at home against San Miniato (#5) and hope to win that game.
