Regular Season Round 17: Marghera - Viterbo 75-55

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Marghera (12-4) crushed 10th ranked Viterbo (4-12) in Venezia 75-55. The game without a history. Marghera led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Marghera outrebounded Viterbo 39-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Argentinian swingman Macarena Rosset (178-91, agency: Players Group) who scored 18 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Guard Federica Iannucci (175-93) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Giulia Ciavarella (181-97) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds and guard Arianna Puggioni (170-99) added 10 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Marghera maintains third place in A2 with 12-4 record having five points less than leader Sesto SG. Viterbo at the other side keeps the tenth position with 12 games lost. Marghera's next round opponent will be Castellammare (#9) in Stabia which should be theoretically another easy game.
