Bottom-ranked Shiraz a.s Pipe (0-16) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 16th consecutive match to eighth ranked Army (5-11) 102-78 on Monday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Army. Shiraz a.s Pipe managed to win fourth quarter 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Army shot 61.4 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was the former international Vahid Dalirzahan (199-95) who scored 21 points. The former international point guard Farid Aslani (183-88) chipped in 13 points and 5 assists. Four Army players scored in double figures. Army's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Army will meet at home higher ranked Arak (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
