Regular Season Round 16: Ramat Hasharon - Bnot Hertzeliya 88-58

The most important game in the last round took place in Hasharon between third ranked Bnot Hertzeliya (10-5) and fourth ranked Ramat Hasharon (7-6) on Monday night. Bnot Hertzeliya was crushed by Ramat Hasharon on the road 88-58. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bnot Hertzeliya. Ramat Hasharon made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Bnot Hertzeliya turnovers and outrebounded them 42-24 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Jasmine Thomas (175-89, college: Duke) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and Cierra Burdick (188-93, college: Tennessee, agency: LBM Management) who added 14 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Ramat Hasharon players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Imani Boyette (201-94, college: Texas) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and guard Kelly Faris (180-91, college: Connecticut, agency: LBM Management) scored 13 points and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ramat Hasharon have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 7-6 record. Bnot Hertzeliya at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Ramat Hasharon are looking forward to face league's second-placed Maccabi Ashdod on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Bnot Hertzeliya will play against Hap.Petah Tikva and is hoping to win this game.
