An interesting game for Estudiantes C. (22-11) which played road game in Buenos Aires against second-ranked Ferrocarril (20-11). Second ranked Estudiantes C. managed to get a 9-point victory 76-67. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Ferrocarril won third quarter 25-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American-Jordanian Dar Tucker (193-88, college: De Paul) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Sebastian Orresta (188-93) chipped in 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American-Puerto Rican Ramon Clemente (200-85, college: Wichita St.) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and international point guard Franco Balbi (185-89) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. They maintain second position with 22-11 record behind leader San Lorenzo which they share with defeated Ferrocarril. Ferrocarril at the other side keeps the second place with 11 games lost. Estudiantes C.'s next round opponent will be league's leader San Lorenzo in Almagra and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ferrocarril will play at home against GECR Indalo and hope to win that game.
