Second Stage Round 4: Helsingborg - Lobas 77-85

Very important is a home loss of third ranked Helsingborg (7-6) against fifth ranked Lobas (5-7) on Wednesday night. Host Helsingborg was defeated by Lobas in a tough game in Helsingborg 77-85. Helsingborg trailed by 12 points at halftime and as many as 16 after three quarters before a 29-21 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 77-85 at the end of the game. It was a great shooting night for Lobas especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. The winners were led by guard Timmie Andersson (190-97) who scored that evening 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Stefan Alavuk (201-98) supported him with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Four Lobas players scored in double figures. Even 21 points and 5 assists by guard Anton Persson (180-97) did not help to save the game for Helsingborg. Forward Patrik Andersson (191-94) added 15 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Lobas maintains fifth position in BEHS forts with 5-7 record. Loser Helsingborg keeps the third place with six games lost. Lobas will meet at home higher ranked Huddinge (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Helsingborg will play against the league's second-placed Eskilstuna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
