Regular Season Round 11: Tadamon - Homenetmen 92-112

Leader Homenetmen delivered the tenth victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Tadamon (5-6) 112-92 in Zouk. Homenetmen players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The former international swingman Fadi Khatib (198-79) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. American forward Dewayne Jackson (203-90, college: Morgan St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) contributed with 37 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds for the winners. Homenetmen's coach Joe Nebhan allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Maurice Kemp (203-91, college: E.Carolina, agency: Duran International) answered with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard Earvin Morris (196-94, college: UTEP) added 22 points and 5 assists in the effort for Tadamon. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Homenetmen have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-1 record. Tadamon at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Homenetmen will play against Al Moutahed (#5) in Tripoli in the next round. Tadamon will play on the road against Champville in Dik El Mehdi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
