No shocking result in a game in Santa Fe where first ranked Union SF (19-5) outleveled 6th ranked Sportivo (6-19) 91-65 on Thursday. Union SF forced 21 Sportivo turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Sportivo's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Union SF made 7 blocks. Forward Patricio Tabarez (195-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 7 blocks for the winners and center Fernando Podesta (205-92) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Union SF's coach Daniel Beltramo felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
