Regular Season Round 27: Jamtland - BC Lulea 78-89

Basketligan top team - BC Lulea (19-5) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked KFUM Jamtland (11-12) 89-78. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. BC Lulea dominated on the defensive end, holding KFUM Jamtland to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to KFUM Jamtland's 32. It was a great evening for Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. American guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) helped adding 18 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was American forward Mike Bruesewitz (201-90, college: Wisconsin) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard Jabril Durham (185-94, college: Arkansas) scored 15 points and 6 assists. Five BC Lulea and four KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. KFUM Jamtland's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BC Lulea maintains first place with 19-5 record. KFUM Jamtland at the other side keeps the sixth position with 12 games lost. BC Lulea will play against Umea (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KFUM Jamtland will play against Boras Basket and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
