Regular Season Round 25: Vitebsk - Prinemanye 89-55

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Vitebsk (13-10) smashed at home 7th ranked Prinemanyex` (5-18) 89-55. The game without a history. Vitebsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Prinemanyex` to just 7 points in second quarter. Vitebsk dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Prinemanyex`'s 28 and had 31 for 44 from the free-throw line, while Prinemanyex` only scored nine points from the stripe. They outrebounded Prinemanyex` 48-31 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Prinemanyex` was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Ivan Aladko (193-95) who helped to win the game recording 23 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Russian center Marsel Ovsepyan (200-90) contributed with 8 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Forward Dmitriy Chumakov (203-93) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and guard Pavel Suvorov (185-95) added 8 points and 6 assists in the effort for Prinemanyex`. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vitebsk moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Impuls BGUIR. Prinemanyex` lost their ninth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 18 games lost. Vitebsk will again play against Prinemanyex` (#7) in Grodno in the next round. Prinemanyex` will have a break next round.
