Regular Season Round 11: Sagesse - Byblos 82-86

The game in Beirut was also quite interesting. Second ranked Byblos (9-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Sagesse (4-7). Byblos managed to secure a 4-point victory 86-82 on Friday. It was a great evening for American guard Clay Tucker (196-80, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 9 assists and 4 steals. Nigerian forward Ndudi Ebi (206-84) helped adding 16 points and 17 rebounds. Four Byblos players scored in double figures. American guard Terrell Stoglin (185-91, college: Maryland) responded with 30 points and Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (193-84, college: CS Northridge) scored 24 points and 7 rebounds. Byblos have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 9-2 record behind leader Homenetmen. Loser Sagesse keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. Byblos will meet at home Mayrouba (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sagesse's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Beirut to the arena Hoops Club.
