Regular Season Round 18: Roanne - Evreux 95-65

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Chorale de Roanne and 12th ranked ALM Evreux had identical 8-9 record. This time Chorale de Roanne used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Evreux 95-65 on Friday night. The game was mostly controlled by Chorale de Roanne. ALM Evreux was better in second period 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Chorale de Roanne especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. ALM Evreux was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Five Chorale de Roanne players scored in double figures. Chorale de Roanne's coach Laurent Pluvy felt very confident that he used 11 players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Caleb Walker (194-89, college: Nebraska) with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Ivorian forward Remi Dibo (201-91, college: W.Virginia, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Chorale de Roanne have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Blois and Denain. Loser ALM Evreux dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. Chorale de Roanne will face Boulazac Basket (#10) on the road in the next round. ALM Evreux will play against Aix-Maurienne and hope to win that game.
