There was no surprise in La Roche where 9th ranked Aulnoye (6-11) was defeated by second ranked Roche (15-2) 77-70 on Saturday. Aulnoye trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 21-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 70-77 at the end of the game. Roche forced 22 Aulnoye turnovers. Guard Johana Tayeau (173-89) stepped up and scored 25 points and 5 assists for the winners and naturalized Senegalese forward Mariame Dia (185-78) chipped in 16 points and 5 steals.
