Regular Season Round 23: Dacin Tigers - KKL 86-90

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Dacin Tigers (18-8) against seventh ranked KKL on Saturday night. KKL were defeated by seventh ranked KKL (7-19) 90-86. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dacin Tigers. KKL made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. American forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: Long Beach St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds. Guard Tai-Jie Wang (183-92) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 20 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Yi-Xiang Zhou (191-91) added 20 points in the effort for Dacin Tigers. Four Dacin Tigers players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. KKL moved-up to sixth place. Dacin Tigers at the other side still keep top position with eight games lost. KKL will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dacin Tigers will play against Pauian and are hoping to win this game.
