Important game to mention about took place in Kaerjeng. Arantia (3-16) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging Bascharage (0-19) 78-75 in the game for the third place. Bascharage was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 24-20 charge of Arantia, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Bascharage's 32. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Ladarius Tabb (196, college: Alabama A&M) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Duke Mondy (193-90, college: Oakland) contributed with 29 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Emilio Parks (198-92, college: Johnson C. Smith) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Phillip Leonard (188-93, college: Mercer) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for Bascharage. Arantia will face Basket Esch at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bascharage will play against Heffingen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
