Second Stage Round 4: Lobas - IK Eos 73-88

Rather predictable result when first ranked IK Eos (10-1) won against 5th ranked Lobas (5-7) in Lomma 88-73 on Saturday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. IK Eos made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Lobas turnovers. Quite impressive performance for guard Gustav Sundstrom (197-91) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 4 assists. Point guard Adnan Karovic (188-88) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four IK Eos players scored in double figures. IK Eos' coach Axel Wallin used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Freddy Andersson (191-87) replied with 23 points and forward Teodor Dahl (196-94) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Lobas. IK Eos have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position in BEHS forts with 10-1 record. Loser Lobas keep the fifth place with seven games lost. IK Eos will face RIG Mark (#6) in Kinna in the next round where they are favorite. Lobas will play at home against Huddinge and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
