There was no surprise when 9th ranked Cefalu (9-10) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Roma Luiss (11-9) 69-53 on Saturday. Roma Luiss held Cefalu to an opponent 24.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Andrea Scuderi (188-92) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 assists and center Eugenio Beretta (206-96) who added 10 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Five Roma Luiss players scored in double figures. Power forward Riccardo Malagoli (209-88) responded with 8 points and 12 rebounds and forward Marco Mollura (196-93) scored 15 points. Roma Luiss maintains sixth position in B with 11-9 record. Newly promoted Cefalu dropped to the tenth place with ten games lost. Roma Luiss will face Scauri (#9) on the road in the next round. Cefalu will play against the league's leader Napoli Cuore and hope to win that game.
