Regular Season Round 18: Peja - Kerasan 118-54

Bottom-ranked Kerasan (0-18) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 18th consecutive match to third ranked Peja (12-3) 118-54 on Saturday evening. The game without a history. Peja led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Kerasan's 32. Peja forced 19 Kerasan turnovers and outrebounded them 59-32 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 40 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Kerasan's players. The best player for the winners was guard Arian Qallaku (195-92) who scored 18 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. American forward Noah Dahlman (201-89, college: Wofford) chipped in 10 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Peja players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Dardan Kapiti (204-0) who recorded 12 points and 9 rebounds and Kreshnik Mucolli added 9 points and 4 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Peja maintains third position with 12-3 record having just three points less than leader Sigal Prishtina. Loser Kerasan still closes the standings. Peja will meet Rahoveci (#6) on the road in the next round. Kerasan will play against Vellaznimi and hopes to get finally their first victory.
