Regular Season Round 22: Nysa Klodzko - Znicz Basket 89-62

Bottom-ranked Nysa Klodzko managed to get a fifth victory on Saturday night. This time they outleveled eleventh-ranked Znicz Basket in Kloszko 89-62. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 27-point difference suggests that Nysa Klodzko is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. They also forced 20 Znicz Basket turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Znicz Basket's players. Forward Marcin Bluma (201-89) fired 25 points for the winners. Point guard Marc-Oscar Sanny (185-96) chipped in 8 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Nysa Klodzko players scored in double figures. Tomasz Madziar (195-92) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds and Mikolaj Stopierzynski (190-94) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nysa Klodzko (5-17) moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Astoria Bydg. Loser Znicz Basket keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost. They share it with Kotwica. Nysa Klodzko will meet higher ranked GTK Gliwice (#4) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Znicz Basket will play against AZS AGH Krk. (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
