There was no surprise in Gorzow Wlkp. where 9th ranked JAS FBG (6-12) was crushed by third ranked AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (13-5) 86-63. AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to JAS FBG's 32. They outrebounded JAS FBG 45-26 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. American forward Courtney Hurt (185-90, college: VCU) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) to lead the effort and Australian guard Nicole Seekamp (178-92, college: S.Dakota) supported her with 17 points and 6 assists. They keep the ninth place with 12 games lost. AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski's next round opponent will be MKK Siedlce (#10) at home and are hoping to win another game.
