Very expected game when 7th ranked ViVe (8-13) was defeated on the road by third ranked Catz Lappeenranta (13-8) 68-50 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Catz Lappeenranta. ViVe managed to win second period 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ViVe to just 6 points in fourth quarter. American Chandrea Jones (177-87, college: Syracuse, agency: LBM Management) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Russian forward Elena Reshetko (184-86) chipped in 24 points and 7 rebounds. Catz Lappeenranta have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains third position with 13-8 record having five points less than leader HyPo. Loser ViVe keeps the seventh place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Espoo Team.
