They outrebounded Melsele 36-25 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for swingman Mitchel Gorremans (191-85) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. Dutch center Kenneth van-Kempen (207-87, college: Ohio, agency: Court Side) contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Dutch power forward Patrick Hilliman (206-82, college: High Point) answered with 25 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Ivan Perez (185-90) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Melsele. Soba moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Houthalen. Melsele lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 12 games lost. Soba will face Giants B (#7) in Antwerp in the next round. Melsele will play at home against Ekeren and hope to win that game.
