Regular Season Round 19: Betanzos - Seis do Nadal 115-74

No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Betanzos (8-8) outleveled at home bottom-ranked Seis do Nadal (0-16) 115-74 on Sunday. The game without a history. Betanzos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 62.9 percent from the field. Betanzos outrebounded Seis do Nadal 44-21 including a 31-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. Betanzos looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Seis do Nadal's players. It was a great evening for center Marcos Rozas (202-83) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Pablo Fernandez (178-92) helped adding 14 points and 10 assists. Five Betanzos players scored in double figures. Betanzos' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side guard Jesus Diaz (188-88) responded with 22 points and 5 rebounds and center Marcos De La Fuente (205-76) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Betanzos maintains eighth place in Group A-B with 8-8 record. Seis do Nadal lost their sixteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with 16 games lost. Betanzos will face Rosalia (#11) in Santiago de Camp. in the next round. Seis do Nadal will play at home against BVM 2012 and hopes to get finally their first victory.
