Regular Season Round 19: Ardoi - TAKE Tolosa 79-62

Very predictable result in Zizur Mayor where fourth ranked Ardoi (12-4) defeated 14th ranked TAKE Tolosa (2-14) 79-62 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Ardoi. TAKE Tolosa was better in third quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded TAKE Tolosa 47-31 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for forward Oscar Gomez (203-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 8 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Pablo Lopez (195-97) helped adding 15 points. At the losing side forward Jon Azaldegi (190-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and forward Benat Azaldegi (196-94) scored 8 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Ardoi moved-up to third place in Group A-A, which they share with Easo. Loser TAKE Tolosa keeps the fourteenth position with 14 games lost. Ardoi will face Venta de Banos (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. TAKE Tolosa will play against Burgos and hope to win that game.
