Regular Season Round 18: Jyvaskyla BA - Espoo United 83-82

The most exciting game of round 18 in the 1st Division took place in Jyvaskyla. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of second-best Espoo United (15-6) to fifth ranked Jyvaskyla BA (11-9) 83-82 on Sunday evening. American guard Omar Calhoun (198-93, college: Connecticut) replied with 29 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Jeb Ivey (190-80, college: Portland St.) added 30 points in the effort for Espoo United. Jyvaskyla BA moved-up to fourth place in Division. Espoo United at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the second position with six games lost. Jyvaskyla BA are looking forward to face Forssan Koripojat (#7) at home in the next round. Espoo United will play against Porvoon Tarmo (#6) and is hoping to win this game.
