Regular Season Round 21: Roseto - Unieuro Forli 82-80

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Roseto (12-9) edged at home 16th ranked Unieuro Forli (4-16) 82-80 on Sunday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Unieuro Forli was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American point guard Adam Smith (185-92, college: Georgia Tech) who led his team to a victory with 25 points. His fellow American import power forward Brandon Sherrod (198-92, college: Yale) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American guard Melvin Johnson (193-93, college: VCU) answered with 30 points (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!) and British point guard Ogooluwa Adegboye (182-87, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Octagon Europe) added 23 points (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) in the effort for Unieuro Forli. Roseto maintains seventh place in A2 with 12-9 record. Newly promoted Unieuro Forli keeps the sixteenth position with 16 games lost. Roseto will face Recanati (#15) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Unieuro Forli will play against Alma Trieste and hope to win that game.
