We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when thirteenth ranked Namika Lr (4-16) beat 12th ranked JyWe (4-16) in Lappeenranta 85-72 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Namika Lr. JyWe was better in third quarter 20-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American swingman Reginald Bratton (193-86, college: Lenoir-Rhyne, agency: Blacktop Management) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Anttoni Tapio (193-92) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Namika Lr players scored in double figures. Russian point guard Sergei Chudinovskich (193-81) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and Russian forward Dmitry Krukov (198-90, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for JyWe. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Namika Lr maintains thirteenth position in Division with 4-16 record. Namika Lr will face higher ranked Raholan Pyrkiva (#6) in Tampere in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
