We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when thirteenth ranked Imola (8-13) outplayed on the road 12th ranked Bondi Ferrara (8-13) 85-62 on Sunday. Imola dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Bondi Ferrara's 32. It was a good game for American point guard Travis Cohn (188-89, college: Jacksonville, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Alex Ranuzzi (195-86, agency: Interperformances) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Imola players scored in double figures. Center Francesco Pellegrino (210-91) answered with 10 points and 9 rebounds and American Terrence Roderick (196-88, college: UAB) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Bondi Ferrara. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Imola moved-up to twelfth place in A2. Imola will face Chieti (#14) at home in the next round. Bondi Ferrara will play against the league's leader Treviso Basket where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
