Regular Season Round 21: Tortona - FCM Ferentino 78-69

Everything went according to plan when third ranked Tortona (14-7) defeated at home 12th ranked FCM Ferentino (8-13) 78-69 on Sunday. Tortona dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to FCM Ferentino's 20. It was a good game for American point guard Glenn Cosey (183-92, college: E.Kentucky, agency: Three Eye Sports) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 4 assists. His fellow American import point guard Phil Greene-IV (187-92, college: St.John's) contributed with 19 points for the winners. American swingman Benjamin Raymond (198-87, college: Xavier) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Tommaso Carnovali (197-93) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for FCM Ferentino. FCM Ferentino's coach Riccardo Paolini tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Tortona moved-up to second place in A2. Loser FCM Ferentino dropped to the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Tortona will face Lighthouse TR (#9) in Trapani in the next round and are hoping to win another game. FCM Ferentino will play at home against Scafati (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
