Regular Season Round 18: Vicenza - Udine Delser 75-56

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Vicenza (14-2) outleveled at home 6th ranked Udine Delser (10-7) 75-56. The game was mostly controlled by Vicenza. Udine Delser was better in second period 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for Slovenian forward Tina Jakovina (183-92) who led her team to a victory with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized Brazilian swingman Tayara Madonna (170-91, agency: Players Group) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Nigerian-British swingman Ejay Ofomata (180-86, college: Central State) replied with 16 points and 8 rebounds and guard Debora Vicenzotti (182-89) added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for Udine Delser. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vicenza maintains second position in A2 with 14-2 record having 2 victories less than leader Sesto SG. Newly promoted Udine Delser keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. Vicenza's next round opponent will be Pordenone (#11) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Udine Delser will play against Salerno (#13) and hope to win that game.
