Regular Season Round 24: Pauian - Dacin Tigers 91-98

SBL top team - Dacin Tigers (19-8) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat fifth ranked Pauian (13-14) 98-91. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pauian. Dacin Tigers made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was guard Yi-Xiang Zhou (191-91) who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Yen-Tsung Shih (194-92) chipped in 22 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was international power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) who recorded a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds and the former international swingman Ching-Pang Lin (190-85) added 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dacin Tigers maintains first position with 19-8 record. Pauian at the other side keeps the fifth place with 14 games lost. Dacin Tigers will meet league's second-placed Taiwan Beer in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pauian will play against Bank of Taiwan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
