Regular Season Round 14: Stingers - Giants 64-67

The most exciting game of round 14 in the NPBA took place in Nassau. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 3rd ranked Stingers (9-5) to first ranked Giants (12-2) 67-64 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Stingers. Giants forced 20 Stingers turnovers and had a 32-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Trent Cox (196, college: Our Lady Lake) who scored 8 points and 11 rebounds. The former international Michael Bain chipped in 11 points. Domnick Bridgewater produced 21 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Anthony Whylly added 6 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Giants maintains first position with 12-2 record. Stingers at the other side dropped to the fourth place with five games lost. They share the position with Shockers. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
