Regular Season Round 25: Ciclista - La Union 63-80

The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Ciclista (15-10) in Juninense on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by seventh ranked La Union (6-19) 80-63. The game without a history. La Union led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American Rakim Brown (198-91, college: Humboldt St.) stepped up and scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and guard Matias Solanas (192-98) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side American power forward Jeffrey Fahnbulleh (200-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds and guard Mauro Araujo (186-94) scored 9 points and 6 assists. Ciclista's coach Facundo Sucatzky rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. La Union moved-up to sixth place, which they share with SP Las Parejas. Ciclista lost third consecutive game. They still keep top position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
