Regular Season Round 17: Parnu - TTU 76-67

The game between third ranked TTU (10-7) and fourth ranked Parnu (11-9) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. TTU was defeated by Parnu in a tough game in Parnu 67-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of TTU. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 19-12. But TTU won second period 21-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Parnu dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to TTU's 24. They outrebounded TTU 44-33 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Croatian center Domagoj Bubalo (212-91) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. Lithuanian swingman Edvinas Seskus (196-95, agency: Players Group) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. The former international forward Joonas Jarvelainen (202-90, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 29 points and 9 rebounds and Kiur Akenparg (190-88) added 11 points and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Parnu moved-up to third place. TTU at the other side dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
