Bottom-ranked Kaspiy-2 is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their tenth consecutive match to eighth ranked Tigers Ast. (6-4) 96-48 on Tuesday evening. Tigers Ast. dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Kaspiy-2's 30 and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Kaspiy-2 43-30 including 16 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tigers Ast. made 7 blocks. The winners were led by guard Evgeniy Ermakov (188-89) who scored that evening 20 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Sergey Datlik (192-86) supported him with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Tigers Ast. players scored in double figures. Even 20 points by point guard Bogdan Ivanchikin (175-0) did not help to save the game for Kaspiy-2. Loser Kaspiy-2 still closes the standings with ten games lost. Tigers Ast. will meet at home higher ranked Bars (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
