Regular Season Round 22: Biofarm PZN - Pogon Prudnik 62-65

Important game to mention about took place in Poznan. Sixth ranked Pogon Prudnik (14-8) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 8th ranked Biofarm PZN (11-11) 65-62 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Biofarm PZN. Guard Grzegorz Mordzak (182-77) notched 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Tomasz Prostak (188-88, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 13 points. Four Pogon Prudnik players scored in double figures. Even 12 points and 6 rebounds by forward Mateusz Brek (192-94) did not help to save the game for Biofarm PZN. Forward Filip Struski (200-94) added 9 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Biofarm PZN's coach Przemyslaw Szurek tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Pogon Prudnik moved-up to fourth place, which they share with GTK Gliwice and Polonia Leszno. Biofarm PZN at the other side keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Pogon Prudnik will play against Astoria Bydg. (#15) in Bydgoszcz in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Biofarm PZN will play on the road against Rosa II Radom (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
