Everything went according to plan in Olavarria where first ranked Estudiantes O. (18-8) won against 7th ranked La Union (7-20) 87-70 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Estudiantes O.. La Union was better in third quarter 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Estudiantes O. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to La Union's 28. They outrebounded La Union 44-32 including 36 on the defensive glass. Estudiantes O. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Diego Figueredo (185-91) who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds.
