The game in Rakvere supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Rapla (10-6) played at the court of 7th ranked BC Rakvere (5-13). Rapla smashed BC Rakvere 91-61. Rapla forced 19 BC Rakvere turnovers and outrebounded them 45-23 including a 30-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. BC Rakvere was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Slovenian point guard Domen Bratoz (189-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. Dutch center Thomas van-der-Mars (208-90, college: Portland) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Forward Karl-Johan Lips (198-96) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and guard Mario Paiste (186-89) added 15 points in the effort for BC Rakvere. BC Rakvere's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Rapla moved-up to fourth place. BC Rakvere lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 13 games lost. They share it with Valga. Rapla will play against bottom-ranked Noorteliiga (#9) in Tallinn in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. BC Rakvere will have a break next round.
