The game in Kashan was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Chemidor (10-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Kashan (7-10). Chemidor managed to secure a 7-point victory 79-72 on Thursday. The game without a history. Chemidor led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Daequan Cook (195-87, college: Ohio St.) who scored 27 points and 8 rebounds. The former international guard Javad Davari (185-83) chipped in 18 points and 6 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Chemidor's coach Javad Rahmatipour used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Croatian center Zvonko Buljan (206-87, college: TCU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and international swingman Mohammad Shahrian (193) added 13 points respectively. Chemidor moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Arak. Newly promoted Kashan keeps the seventh position with ten games lost.
