Thirteenth-ranked Liga Sorocaba (4-16) made lots of trouble for first ranked Brasilia (15-5) on Thursday. Brasilia managed to secure only two-point victory 79-77. However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Fulvio de-Assis (188-81) who scored 13 points and 7 assists. International power forward Lucas Mariano (208-93) chipped in 15 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Ted Bento (199-80) who recorded 18 points and 5 rebounds and Argentinian point guard Enzo Cafferata (187-88) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
