Regular Season Round 3: Taiyuan T. - Chunghua T. 74-77

A very close game was the one between Chunghwa Telecom and Taiyuan Textile. Chunghwa Telecom (4-5) got a very close victory over Taiyuan Textile (6-3). Chunghwa Telecom managed to escape with a 3-point win 77-74 on Thursday evening. It was a great shooting night for Chunghwa Telecom especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for guard Hong-Ying Huang (165-89) who led the winners and scored 27 points. Forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-93) accounted for 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. International forward Ying-Chieh Wu (179-92) came up with 38 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and the former international forward Xi-Ye Liu (172-91) added 20 points respectively for Taiyuan Textile in the defeat. Chunghwa Telecom will meet Cathay Life in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Taiyuan Textile will play against Taipower and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
